CLIENTS OF SALON SIN
At Salon Sin, we take privacy seriously and only use the information we collect to provide our services.
We do not share or sell the information we collect. Information stored is purely for the benefit of client, to access all services & benefits available.
At any time, you may request a copy of information we have recorded about you. You may also request we remove all identifiable information with respect to yourself.
Clients do not need to have a client record should they not wish to provide any details.
Clients not wishing to provide any personal details will not be eligible for
any introductory offers or promotions, any advanced bookings or for any colour services offered by our freelance technicians.
WHAT DATA WE COLLECT & WHY
We request the minimum level of personal information to run our business effectively.
This is data you provide to us directly, for example, your name and contact details.
We consider you have provided consent for us to store information regarding your personally identity, based on you providing this information to us.
We will never obtain information about you indirectly from sources outside our business.
We use the Shedul/Fresha plus software in our salon(s).
The software will store; your name, contact number & email address (if provided), previous & future booking dates & times, hair service history, retail purchases,
skin test dates, hair colour formulation & development times, stylist preferences &
any other information that is directly relevant to services we undertake to ensure we maintain and exceed our level of service.
The software will automatically store credit card details when clients book online.
All staff & freelancers will have access to client records & are contractually obligated to follow the Data protection act.
All staff & freelancers are prohibited from accessing clients details, or for using them for any reason other than;
to contact clients due to any changes or issues relating to future or previous appointments
WEBSITE & SOCIAL MEDIA USE
As a general user of our website or social media we do not ask nor require any personal information or data from you.
If you use the website to make a booking online, your data is gathered and treated in the same way as a salon appointment;

ONLINE BOOKINGS / CREDIT CARD DETAILS
The Shedul/Fresha Plus software will store credit card details when clients make online bookings.
This allows clients to book in again easily without the need for entering the details again.
It also allows clients to pay directly from the stored card (should they choose to)
The software will also automatically deduct any fees for no-shows as detailed in the online booking process.
Stored credit card details are not visible or accessible for anyone using our database. Staff & management do not have any access to the credit card details.
Walk in clients, and clients that book in person or over the phone will not require a credit card for the booking process.
APPOINTMENT CONFIRMATIONS AND REMINDERS
We will contact you via phone, email or SMS to confirm appointments booked and remind you of upcoming appointments.
We consider your having made the appointment as consent to undertake this activity but, if you want, you may opt-out at any time.
We will not undertake phone, mail, email or SMS marketing without you first providing consent for us to do so.
